Legislation: Like many Asian countries, Korean law treats the use, possession, sale, cultivation and trafficking of drugs very seriously. Large scale trafficking of drugs including Marijuana can result in the life in prison or even the death penalty. The penalty for dealing is 5 years to life, while even simple possession can run a sentence of up to 5 years. Unlike many other countries, failing a urine or hair follice test, which can be given randomly by the police, or even admitting to drug use in other countries is treated the same as if you actually were in possession of the drug itself. Foreign citizens convicted of use or possession usually serve 3-6 months in a Korean prison, are fined $1000-5000 and then deported. Courts will sometimes reduce these sentences if you can provide information resulting in the arrest of one dealer or five other users.
Law enforcement: Korean police will arrest you, and unlike some countries bribery is not an option. Korea has an amazingly large police force and an almost non-existant crime rate, meaning police will not look the other way for minor drug offenses. Police patrol neighborhoods, parks, and open areas heavily by car, motorcycle, and on foot. Private citizens will also call the police if they see or smell you smoking. There is virtually no tolerance for any drug use by the local polulation. If you are arrested you will go to prison, and there are no exceptions for foreigners. However, smoking weed is almost non-existant in Korea, and most Koreans would not know what Marijuana smells or looks like. However, if you are caught, you are pretty much SOL.
Where to buy marijuana: It is basically impossible to buy Marijuana in the city of Incheon. The local population really does not smoke, and the tiny expat community is mostly too afraid of the law to attempt it here. Asking any local will likely result in a police call – if of course the local speaks enough English to understand you. Many expats will be sympathetic but will not help out of fear of legal reprecussions. Seoul, however, is a short subway ride away and there is a small amount of weed to be had in the foreign neighborhood of Itaewon. This is the only place in all of Korea where I have seen or smoked weed. White hippe types and possible some of the West Africans will be able to point you in the right direction if you have the chance to get to know them. However, asking randomly on the street, even here will likely land you in jail. Your best bet is to go to a hookah cafe or a reggae bar in Itaewon, start a conversation with a (non Korean) hippie type or African immigrant, buy that person a drink and eventually talk about the “scene” in Korea. Avoid being too direct at first or you might scare the person away. If you meet the right people you should be able to score something or at least be smoked down. Keep in mind that many expats in Korea smoke back home but are too afraid to smoke in Korea or too poor to afford the high costs.
Marijuana prices: You have to take what you can get here.
Sometimes dirt schwag or soapbar hash runs $30-50 US per gram.
If you find anything halfway decent it may cost close to $100 US per gram.
Ounces of average quality run between $1000 and 1200.
Marijuana brands: Whatever is available. Remember that you are no longer in Amsteram or California.
More information: Coming from someone who has not only smoked weed in nearly 15 countries, but has also carried reasonable amounts across intl borders, let me say that smoking in Korea is probably not worth the risk. Smoking weed is completely taboo here, and discussing your favorite past time with any locals – even young trendy ones – will likely land you in jail. The number of dealers is tiny and the cost is prohibitively expensive. There have been a number of recent articles in the local media accusing foreigners of bringing their “drug problems” to Korea, and many Koreans assume that all foreigners do and deal drugs. As a result there is a great deal of racial profiling against all non Koreans here, and you can serve hard prison time just for failing a drug test. If dealers are caught they will most certainly turn in their clients in exchange for a reduced sentence, and if accused you will be required to submit to a drug test. The majority of expats I know here were crazy stoners back home (like myself) and now refuse to touch the stuff out of fear of repercussions. If you want to continue smoking the fine herb, Korea is not the place for you – go to Europe or other Asian countries like Cambodia, Laos, India, Nepal, or even Thailand. If you insist on smoking here and manage to find a source, you should only smoke in your own apartment (with windows open and with cigarettes or incense burning) and not tell anyone what you are up to. The one thing you have going for you is that the locals will not be able to tell you are high, and will just assume you are drunk if you do act impaired. Likewise if you do happen to have an encounter with the police here and you are high, just act like you are drunk (sway a bit and slur your words) and no one will suspect anything. Korea can be a fascinating country to visit or live in, but is one of the last places in the world I would want to smoke (and I have been to nearly 25 countries and smoked in at least 15 of them).

Legislation: Its illegal, but small quantities will not land you in jail
Law enforcement: If caught with a small personal amount, you can brive the cop, or you can talk your way out of it, 5-10USD will do the trick.
“most units are K-9”: ask a Panamanian what is a K9. hah. Iv’e never seen a dog with police, but there probably are some. However, anti-drug is big time in Panama. Cops search with a religious fanaticism, including undercover.
Buyer beware.
Where to buy marijuana: our most recent report is: “I hopped in a taxi on via Venetto a couple of weeks ago and asked the cabbie where I could get some smoke. He dropped me off at my temporary destination for an hour and when he returned he had what I was looking for. It was ok not serious quality – needed to smoke entire joint to get a good stone. Be discreet about where you smoke.”
another reporter added: “Do not deal with people that look like thugs, or people that approach you trying to sell you something, most likely they are looking to get into your pockets.
There are a few head shops, you will most likely find people that smoke around there, or just look at the people, it is very easy to spot a smoker in panama, they will stand out from the regular population, look at their clothes, very similar to the US pot heads and if you are a tourist they will help you out.
All you need is a phone number and it will be delivered to you.

Legislation: Marijuana is illegal in Peru, and so is any related action. It is in fact a criminal offense.
Law enforcement: Seemed very strict. Expect to be searched. And searched again. Also expect seller to tip off cops.
and also: “The police will definitely search you and mess with you if you’re seen buying. However, being that it’s Peru, you can also usually bribe your way out of any problems…”
and : “There are a lot of cops around certain places, especially in Miraflores to protect all the gringos. Before I came to Lima, I was warned that the city is very strict about it, but from talking to stoners from the city, it is not really so. I dont have any first hand experience here, but from people I have met, I have heard the following:
-If you just have a joint, they won’t do anything.
-If you have more, you can most of the time slip them a couple of soles. But dont offer to go to an ATM to get more or something, because they will make you give them all your money”
Where to buy marijuana: I can only talk about getting pot as a tourist, but if you are looking here, most likely you are also a tourist….
Miraflores is the place where all the gringos are, and where there are tourists, there are people selling things to tourists. If you go the park near the Ovalo de Miraflores, especially during the night, especially on the weekends, you will surely get offered marijuana. However, you may not recognize it right away.
There are men who stand near the crosswalks by the Avenida de Pizza, a little walkway full of touristy restaurants and discos. These men have little papers, often with semi-nude women on them that they hand out to everyone. You can easily ignore them, but if you give them a second to explain, they will probably ask you if you want some pot. It is called yerba most of the time, but you will get the picture. If you turn them down, they will offer coke, then prostitutes.
Other ways to buy pot:
-Know someone who smokes pot and has connections.
-Make friends with random drunk Peruvians (most are anxious to talk to gingos for one reason or another), and ask them how to get it. They can at least give you some tips.
Marijuana prices: It really depends. You can find small packets (1-2gr) of decent herb in Miraflores for 10 – 20 soles. Or you can get some decent stuff, although slightly seedy, in Barranco for 20 soles for around 10gr and 40 soles for 30gr. Ask around.
and also: “In Miraflores, I bought a little package that I rolled about 6 joints from, for 20 soles, which is about 7 dollars. Not a bad price, but another time, when buying through a Peuvian stoner from an actual dealer, my friends got around an ounce for 40 dollars.”
Marijuana brands: I think most of the stuff around is basically mid of the line stuff. I am sure there is some dank, and specfic types somewhere, but it is hard to find if you dont have mny connections.
More information: Don’t be put off. Great country, if a little tense. A big bag of weed and a 7 day trip into the Amazon rainforest is hard to beat. And there are no cops there.
Warsaw might conjure up images of World War II ghettos and bombed out buildings, but the city has re-grown, and a few pot seeds apparently took root too.
While it doesn’t enjoy the same reputation as a party hotspot that its neighbour Prague, Czech Republic, does, and despite fairly strict drug laws, smoking abounds in this former Soviet Bloc city.
Anka, a local studying at a vocational school, finds plenty of time to squeeze concerts, pubs and discos that are liberally sprinkled around the city into her busy schedule.
“At weekends I try to attend anything up to three events,” she said. “I often smoke hash and marijuana — they’re as common as beer in the company I keep.”
While the Polish drug scene is alive and well, the Polish government has revamped its once liberal laws and is doing its best to pull the plug on even recreational use. The parliament recently passed laws banning possession of all soft drugs, even in small amounts obviously intended only for personal use.
The U.S. State Department reports that “penalties for possession, use, or dealing in illegal drugs are strict, and convicted offenders can expect jail sentences and heavy fines.”
Despite the restrictions, pot and hash are easy to find.
“On a walk through some Warsaw suburbs I saw what looked and smelt suspiciously like marijuana growing freely in the hedgerows,” said Richard, an American who lives in Warsaw.
The homegrown marijuana is of pretty high quality skunk and orange and runs about $8 to $10 per gram or $65 for 10 grams. Hash is harder to find, since most of it is imported instead of produced locally. Black Afghan hash is about $10 to $12 per gram, when you can find it.
In line with the home-grown pot itself, the easiest places to find it are where locals hang out.
“It is easiest to get everywhere,” said Niall, from Scotland. “School, clubs, friends, neighbourhoods.”

If you’re having a hard time meeting locals, head for the University district or the Palace of Culture near the main train station. Both locations are filled with both dealers and tokers who might be willing to share a small hit with a visitor.
“On the East side of Palace of Culture there is a big tent where they serve cheap beer, play great music and best — you can smoke whatever you want,” said a visitor in Warsaw going by the nickname Hemmy. “When the cops come, just throw away your “cigarette” and say what? It must’ve been someone in the park! ”There is a great drumming scene too.”
Another location where pot and hash can be found among piles of junk, fake antiques and the occasional gun is the flea market at Stadion Dziesieciolecia, arguably the largest in Europe.
“There are more than 10,000 stands where you can buy almost anything. They even used to sell weapons!” said a tourist from Denmark. “People come from not only Poland, but from the whole eastern Europe – especially the old Soviet republics — to sell clothes, food, caviar, music, handyman tools and all kinds of electric equipment.”
Once you’ve loaded up on some ganga and developed a serious case of the munchies, hit up the little Vietnamese food stands huddled around Plac Konstitucji, which serve almost identical but edible generic Asian takeout.
When heading out after hours, take some pains to dodge the Red Light District and the main train station where pickpockets tend to congregate.
“We wandered by accident into an area of huts masquerading as shops between Zielna and Marshall Street,” said Drew from the United States. “All seemed to be involved in either the sex industry or armaments trade. I’ve come across the sex industry in many places, but nothing like this.”
Instead, head out for a night of clubbing or pub-crawling.
Cul de Sac (ul. Foksal 2) is lodged in an imposing building and bolstered by the comfortable and faintly decadent leather couches and mellow atmosphere inside. Ground Zero (ul. Wspolna 62) is a converted domed bomb shelter with surprisingly good Mexican food next door at the Warsaw Tortilla Factory.
“There are plenty of nightclubs in Warsaw,” said local Radzio. “You may not be let in if you are under 18 though, and if you are wearing sportswear.”
And by the end of a day of smoking, drinking and general partying, just be sure you know the way home.
“Remember to always carry the name of the street in which you are staying. It may be unpronounceable and you may need it for the taxi driver,” said one American visitor who got lost with her brother. “He got a little drunk and was in no fit state to tell the taxi driver his address. Big sis had to step in and get us back to some unpronounceable street with an amazing combination of “szcs’ in the name.”

Legislation: Marijuana is illegal in Peru, and so is any related action. It is in fact a criminal offense.
Law enforcement: There are very few police in the city and as long as you stick to parks to smoke you’ll be fine. If you do happen to get caught, a bribe can be very handy.
Where to buy marijuana: Head to the Plaza de Armas in the early evening and talk with the various jewelry vendors found along the streets surrounding it.
Marijuana prices: 20 soles for a packet of approximately 7gr of schwag
Smoking tolerance level [1= very illegal 5=virtually legal]: 1.5
Legislation: HIGHLY ILLEGAL.
Law enforcement: Strict.
Where to buy marijuana: Most certainly NOT on the street. If you do, expect to be nabbed just as you enter your guest house. Late night in the bars and clubs, no problem. This is a producing country, so its easier and cheaper to buy coke. But if you look and are patient, there is some very high quality weed here.
and also: ” Plaza de Armas after 7pm.
If your back is facing the church you will be facing a club on the second story. It is a very good ‘gringo’ club and you can smoke in there without a problem. If you are directly in front of the club facing it to your left there is an ally. In front of the ally or in it making a transaction is a group of black people. If you just stand there someone will come up to you and simply say “marijuana” and another person will say “cocaine”. Now I hear that the cops are very corrupt there and what not but I got the tip from a taxi driver and it worked every night for about a month. I am going to be honest, in there ally there is some kind of room. After I felt comfortable I went to score alone, they tried to get me to go in the room, I refused. I wouldn’t advise anyone to go with these people anywhere. There drugs are extremely legit but they are extremely sketchy.
Taxi drivers are a good source. My first day in Cuzco we went bungie jumping. I was chewing the hell out of coca leaves (legal, sold in stores) on the way there. The taxi driver asked me if I liked coca. I told him I loved it but I wanted to get high (I dont speak spanish but he knew what I ment by putting my thumb and my index finger up to my mouth). He took me to his friends house to score some schwag. I have heard stories of taxi driver turning people in after that and you’ll be screwed. Be careful.”
Marijuana prices: 20 soles for about an eighth.
20 soles for about a quarter of schwag.
40 soles for a gram of EXTREMELY high quality coke.
Marijuana brands: VERY dank chronic or BULLSHIT. Both dealers are right next to each other, everyone in their group is selling something. If you start interaction with one of them it seems like it would be tough to get out of it if you want to eventually buy something. Dont go alone, only let them see the money you are looking to spend.
More information: I smoked on the streets every night, never a problem. That was probably a dumb idea but I thought it was better than to blaze in my room.
Head up the Inca trail to Machu Pichu with your bag of bud. Its quite nice. Great country but remember, expect a search or two.
Smoking tolerance level [1= very illegal 5=virtually legal]: 1
Legislation: You can get death penalty of life sentence for dealing, be very careful because if they catch you even with some you will have to pay some expensive bribe..
Law enforcement: watch out for the local police, especially the special drug enforcement unit called PEDEA. They are so stupid they might think you are into it. Although policemen can be easily bribed, don’t let it reach the station if not you will have shell out a large amount, apart for the fact you have to use their john (it’s fucking dirty)
Where to buy marijuana in Pasay: Look for the place called HIVE in Pasay (clue: it’s really near the city mayor’s house).
Pasay Marijuana prices: It’s quite cheap. money for nothing Ganja for free.
Brands: very nice homegrown stuff..:)
forest-ganj
Extravaganja
More information: As in all Asia you have to be very careful who you ask, cause sometimes you feel like everybody is just trying to rip you off, but once you meet the right people you will see..:) smoking with filipinos and filipinas is very cool, they are super friendly and you can be quite amazed by the way the think..good luck.

Legislation: Marijuana is illegal in Peru. It is an offense to smoke in the streets, but you can smoke in the hotel room. In Ayahuaska or San Pedro it is LEGAL.
Law enforcement: Seemed very strict in the streets :Aguas Calientes – Machupichu pueblo, in the Inca city its easy, but try to smoke alone.
If you want to go to Waynapicchu mountain or another mountain dont get too high The trip (Lima-Cusco) by plane is easy if you have a little stash of herb with you (10 joints).
The trip by buss is easy use the company “Cruz del Sur” or “Palomino”, you can smoke in the stops W.C. (washrooms), but never smoke in the BUS W.C.
The company of buses put one police (secret) officer undercover.
The trip by TRAIN its EASY, more lax control.
Where to buy marijuana: Its too hard, like imposible, but you can get smokers friends in the hotsprings and disco.
Make a friends in the bar, dont ask in the streets.
Marijuana prices: Its expensive. You can find 6 joints x 50 soles ($16.00 usd).
buy in Lima (the capital) its much easier and way cheaper.
Marijuana brands: Different varations of skunk and sativas, ask about skunk because in Peru we have a “Moño Rojo” its a bad herb, the color is brown.
Smoking tolerance level [1= very illegal 5=virtually legal]: 2.5
Legislation: The drug laws strictly prohibit the possession and use of any quantity of cannibis.
Law enforcement: The laws are strictly enforced by courts. Sentences for possession of ANY quantity of cannibis tend to start at 3 years for 1-28 grams, and are as high as 10 years for dealing quantities. That said, police are amongst the world’s most corrupt, so if you are caught in possession, you should immediately ask for a “ticket” and “fine” for this offence. K20-K50 (USD 5-12) is an appropriate amount.
Most of the people who get caught are poor, and do not have the resources to bribe or defend themselves (police always cut corners with prosecutions so a decent lawyer will be able to get anyone off). General society tends to view marijuana use with the same seriousness that heroin or cocaine are seen in most developed countries.
Where to buy marijuana: Mini street vendors that sell cigarettes, drinks and a local chewing nut will always know where to score, or have some themselves. Be sure to not score in front of police though, and dress down (shorts, t-shirt, unshaven etc – this avoids attracting attention, as white foreigners will always stand out on the streets, since foreigners tend to drive places, not walk). A better alternative is asking security guards (common on nearly every large building, apartment or shop) to score for you and highlight the possibility of repeat business, or a second payment on delivery, to ensure they do not run off with your cash.
Sellers at markets will also have stuff on hand, or nearby contacts, but avoid asking women and guys over say 25ish. The women are likely to be mothers with pothead sons who may turn you over to cops or at least give you a lecture about clean living and god.
Lastly, and most easily and discreetly, the caddies at Port Moresby golf course can always provide you with weed on course, or nearby the entrance if you don’t play golf.
Marijuana prices: Weed is most commonly sold as individual foil wrapped buds, for K1-2 (USD $0.30-$0.60) each. Prices tend to vary based on demand, not quality, since hydroponic or imports are not available.
Marijuana brands: Gear throughout the country tends to be grown naturally in the highlands and transported. Dealers will very rarely carry varieties. Quality is dependant on demand – in summer at the coast, high demand will result in high prices for average dry gear. At other times, tight neat potent bud will be cheap. It can be somewhat random.
Smoking tolerance level [1= very illegal 5=virtually legal]: 1
Legislation: the new revised narcotics act states that an individual may be arrested if he is in possesion of any parapharnalia with residue. about 5grams can land you life as the death penalty has been abolished for the meantime.
Posession of any drug is considered a henious crime.
If you get caught and convicted, your facing 20+ years in one of the worse prisons in the world OR your gettin the death penalty!!!! BE DISCREET!!!
Law enforcement: If you get in trouble, try to get out as fast you can with the minimum number of people and pesos getting involved. Keep a few US $100 bills in your wallet (no ID, just money). The green $$$ talks if you get busted.
another report we received is: “Cops are easy to bribe, if you do it quickly, blind them with Grant and Jefferson, don’t make it reach the station becuase you will have to bribe more people. if you see a cop pretend you don’t understand, then when he tells you he’s gonna arrest you say something like: why don’t we just settle this here and save us both the trouble, say you are making a “pakiusap” and tell him you respect him as an officer. it always does good to stroke their ego before offering a bribe. Don’t show any ID and as much as possible pretend you are not a tourist”
and also: “Philippine drug laws are extremely strict, especially for foreigners!!! Bribing most cops will buy you a “Get out of jail free” card. If you ever get caught just flatter the officers about their “professionalism” and how you believe their country is “by far” the best on Earth!!! After about 3-4 minutes of that tell the officers you want to make a deal! Friends of mine have done this with no problems, but DONT let them take you back to the station! You’ll wind up having to bribe every officer and it’ll cost you around $3000 as opposed to maybe $400. I smoked daily when I was in the Philippines and I did standing transactions right in front of my condominium(Busy Metro Area), and saw “Pulisya” roughly 5 times in 3 years!!! Im also not a fool!!! If you have ANY common sense this shouldn’t be a problem!!! Dont risk 25 years in a Filipino prison(Ungodly Filth) because you think you’ll never get caught! Be discreet and cautious about your business!!!”
Where to buy marijuana in Manila: Sagada-sagada is a haven for pot smokers, its kind of like Amsterdam because it has coffee shops and the locals are very tolerant (in fact they encourage cannabis), it’s a tourist destination for hiking trecking and other out door activites, Once you get down the bus locals may offer you anything from sensi, pollen, hash to charas. Sagada is famous for its pollen and hash. its very easy to get any cannabis products here. the police will only catch you if you smoke near the station, otherwise its okay, you can smoke in your room or better yet in the mountains while doing a treck. Sagada is about 14hrs from manila, you take a bus that goes straight to Bagiou the you take another one that goes to Sagada, the ride is pretty rough but when you get there its woth it. The locals speak impecable english.

Tell one of the horse guys “Marijuana?”. He will ask you how much,he’ll leave and come right back, pay, and puff away!!!!!!!!!!! In Baguio never give them the money before you get the weed!!! Baguio is one of the largest manufacturers of cannabis in Asia, and its only a 5 mile town!!!!!!!!!
Malate- Find Pablo Ocampo Street, and locate Vito Cruz Cityland. Directly in front of the building, and across the street, there are a group of tricycle drivers(Yellow Tricycles). Get the attention of one of the drivers,or you might go so far as to get inside the tricycle. Once your in the tricycle he’ll probably ask you “Where to BOSS” or something to that effect. Then just tell him “Marijuana my friend?”. He will understand and probably just nod his head yes! Then you make your order. Before I found my current hydroponics dealer I did exactly this EVERYDAY!!! Once you make a good deal, get the guys cell number so you can text contact him during your next craving! Conceal your address and name!!! Your on your way to a Shitty stone, but its better than nada!!! I know my fellow Cannaseurs agree!!!!”
