Legislation: Most cops just confiscate any marijuana, and related items. Kanata cops are kings of intimidation, they’ll say so much, but do nothing in the end. This ends up trapping some people.
Law enforcement: Cops often target stoners, they have nothing better to do.
Where to buy marijuana: Go to the Kanata Recreation complex area, where the skatepark is, be cool and you’ll be set.
Additional points of intersts are the Terry Fox Bus Station, dudes just sitting there all day.

it is against the law to possess marijuana in Canada. If you have baggies, scales or other selling paraphernalia, you may be charged with trafficking.
Cannabis is schedule II in Canada (for more than 3 kg). Canada’s cannabis control laws are spottily enforced, with the west coast (British Columbia) being well known for its high quality cannabis and low levels of enforcement. In 2002, Canada’s federal government made several findings in favor of cannabis legalization and medical use approval. Although the status of medical cannabis is still in flux (sep 2002), the Canadian government has several times voiced its intention to support full medical use. Non-viable Cannabis seeds and Cannabis stalks (that do not include leaves, flowers, seeds or branches) are exempted.
In July 2000, an Ontario Court of Appeal ruled against the Canadian law because it did not address medical necessity and on July 31, 2001 a new regulation was enacted by the cabinet which addressed medical use. In January 2003, a lower Ontario court ruled simple possession laws banning cannabis unconstitutional, although it is unclear what the long term implications of this might be.
There are only 2 drug squad officers in Kingston and it is fairly safe to smoke, possess, and traffic marijuana here. Most people caught with ganja are usually stopped by the police for some other reason first.
Law enforcement: There are only 2 drug squad officers in Kingston and it is fairly safe to smoke, possess, and traffic marijuana here. Downtown cops don’t care.heights go for it. just don’t smoke in rich neighborhoods, someone will prob call the cops if they c u there…so stay clear, but anywhere downtown is fine u can smoke right on the street.
Police in Kingston are well-funded and often looking to fill their quota. Although they’re more interested in speed and IV-type heavies, don’t run the risks of smoking in public.
Several back alleys and private parking lots are accessible up and down the main drag where people will have no trouble with you smoking, so take the slightest precaution and you’re all good. Unlike what the previous poster said, you most definitely can not just walk up and down the street smoking weed in the more populated areas, although this is true in the suburbs.
Where to buy marijuana: In front of the church across the street from Tim Horton’s, at the corner where the bikers park their rides and hang out. This spot is often populated by junkies and low-lives, and is an opportune place for low-lives like us to cop a dime. For whatever reason, the police don’t seem to bother with that corner, even though it’s not a particularly bad part of town.
Our Latest Reports tell us: “Downtown in the Hub ( the club area on Princess St.), other than that, a tourists best bet might be Ontario St (waterfront), or the college or university. If all else fails drive around north of princess, there are many drug dealers in this area but it may be hard to find them without connections.”
Hard to find without connections, but you may be able to score some chronic downtown, just ask around, lots of people who party at the clubs will most likely help u out..there’s clubs everywhere so ask around wen people are standing outside them, or check the malls, ask around there. you could get it in the heights, but unless u know ppl its kinda hard(bad neighborhood). If nothing the mall is the best chance. Or if u go downtown near the smoke shops(hemporium is your best bet) ask people who are going in and out of the store, there all ganja smokers.
Marijuana prices: latest info: 10/gram, 25/half quarter (3.5g), 50-60/quarter, 150-190/oz (depending on who you know)
Marijuana brands: Mostly high quality hydro throughout the year but during harvest season you might be stuck with outdoor which is usually still decent.
More information: Try not to ask people who don’t look trust worthy, Because u may get jacked…there’s alot of people here who r like that. You may be able to find bud at the plaza strip club, but ripoffs are common there.
Much or most of Kingston’s hash is tainted with fillers (e.g.; weed, sand, rabbit crap, & petroleum). It is worth it to pay more money for proper hash.

our recent update is: “Possessions on its own rarely makes court and when it does…. possession if that’s all the judge has to deal with will genereally ask for it to be thrown out…. for over 15 Gup to 3000 ish….. Policeman here have been busted selling more. But it was the breach of trust that really hurt him in that case.
Paraphernalia is no indication of trafficking anymore although one may argue. It still comes down to signed witness testimony, an irate former customer diming out there dealer to get off drunk driving… or simply the dealer sells to someone with no identity or references.
The police will use a joint as probably casie if they want to. That is pretty much there only concern. If they want you for something they will use the joint to get where they need to be to make their bust.”
Law Enforcement: Too many of us locals have ‘ Blazed Up!’ outside and seen ‘Five-O!’ The police… drive up. No worries. Make sure someone has a smoke lit, look casual, the usual. I haven’t even heard of anyone getting busted for smoking pot. I’ve been aproached by cops after JUST PUTTING OUT A FAT BLUNT….needless to say, I think they are supplied with the good government weed….DAMN CONSPIRICIES!
Where to buy marijuana in Halifax : Downtown. Uptown. Anywheres. At a skate shop, record shop, a mall…Specific spots, spring garden, the waterfront, the commons, ANY club, pub, bar…
USE GOOD JUDGEMENT. Don’t scream it, be subtle. Everyone who ‘knows this guy who has bomb weed….’ weed is everywhere in this city. Sometimes you can randomly find someone with Tasty Hash!! now and then.
another reporter added: “It’s not likely anyone will come up behind you and whisper ‘weed’ in your ear anywhere in Halifax. It can be hard to score if you don’t know who you’re looking for. My best advice for an out-of-towner would be to head to the north end. Streets like Gottigen and Agricola have several cafes with many young bohemian, artisan types. Perhpas avoid Uniacke Square and Maynard/Gerrish area-if you see someone standing on the corner, they are likely selling crack and you will likely get ripped off if you seem like you don’t know what you are doing. Ask a friendly looking hippie in a North End cafe and I bet you will have better luck than anywhere downtown. ”
and another one warned: “DO NOT GO TO THE NORTH END! You will likely be shot, or mugged. Especially on Gottingen, Agricola, Maynard, and Creighton Streets. The easiest place to find pot for out of towners is in front tof the Spring Garden Road LIbrary, by Mary Janes Smoke shop and the Black Market. People are friendly and it’s much safer in the South End of town.”
our Last report to come in said: “Go to the commons skatepark. It’s a big skatepark in the center of this big green grassy field known as the commons. It’s next to the big QEII health sciences center. On a week day, between 8am and noon, you’re not gonna have many people here. But any time after that, and definitely on weekends, including Fridays, there are people here who can either get you weed, or have weed. Almost every skateboarder and most bikers there smoke weed. Right next to it is the pavilion, this all-ages music place where everyone gets high on E or whatever they’re into and jams to music. Everyone at the commons is getting high, so go there. Also, on spring garden road, there are a lot of sketchbags, so don’t just go around asking everyone for weed. Sometimes people do get weirded out, but that’s only if you’re retarded and go asking business men for chronic. Kids on skateboards know what is up. I don’t want to be too specific . Down the street from MaryJanes smokeshop there is a skate shop. Skate shops don’t sell weed, but skateboarders smoke it . I read another post about going to gottingen up in the north end. If you go there, you’re definitely going to find weed, but yo’re also going to get jacked. Don’t try and get weed from there. I live here and i don’t do that. Just walking around there with a lot of weed is sketchy on its own.
Halifax marijuana prices:
10$ for a gram, or 8$ or so for our neighboring Americans. My advice, enjoy our local breeder’s talents. Always get your deal on a quantity of 3 G’s or more. Besides, if you’re out and about in Halifax having a toke, you’ll meet some local stoners. Guaranteed. Be prepared to get smoked out!
Our honest local reporter said this in mid march 2009 “Not sure who these people are buying from but those prices are definitely off.
10/g
20-25/3g
60/10g
150/ounce
And this is for real high quality bud.” WORD that sounds better!!
another reporter added: “Up to 20/g for good hydro. Probable 10-15/g for mediocre or $120 for 1/2 ounce. Some negotiation”
“Grams are generally 10Bucks on a good day… but for consistant dealers who want to run there business seemlesly for their customers, i’e, never run out, will pay their dealers the extra for that bonus.
The added satisfaction will adds another 2.5 per gram and do a two for 25 deal. 5 for 60 is not unheard off.. but regular usually get the 5 for 50….. 100 FOR 10.
This is for AAA BC stuff. Not too many Nova Scotia growers have The Cure down yet… but its coming. The seasons have been terrible year after year lately so that contributes as well.”
and also: “Prices quoted on the listed report are definitely off. $10 for a single.
2g for $25, 5g for $40 ($60 for 5 grams is ABSOLUTELY unheard of and I’ve been smoking in this city for over 5 years). 10g for $80-$85 and an Ounce for about $180.”
Halifax Marijuana Brands:
Lots of local indica, some local sativa. Mostly Hydro. Many, many many different strains. Each time I pick up, it’s different. And exceptional. My last batch was definitely a sweet F1 hybrid. I’m thinking the seeds came from Jordan Of the Islands. Always the tasty nuggs!! –That’s my line, I’m working on the copyright…..!
another reporter added: “Super Indica, Sweetness, Juicy Fruit, Big Bud varieties. Good sativa hydro but lots of mediocre stuff too so be careful. Especially in the fall the market gets flooded by outdoor-grown stuff and it can be really hard to get good hydro. ”
More information: Most likely the most UNLIKELY place in Canada to be pot head’s paradise. It is absolutely nuts how quick it is to find weed here. Everyone tokes and is willing to hook you up with ‘someone they know’. The weed is unreal, and things just get better. Sometimes it’s browish/green, orange/green, neon green, dark green….If you take the time you can find out what kind it actually is, such as myself. But…I put requests in after flipping thru High Times. Although all us locals know it’s bomb either way. Weed here is always clean, never heard of anything laced. Stop by a smoke shop for some local banter. Blaze up, and hit the town. Our food here is second to none.Lobsters, Donairs, and the highest ratio of Bars and coffee shops to people in Canada.
Welcome to Heaven!
Ans some more information: Just wanted to say, I went on a month long cross Canada train trip. I am from Hamilton, but I went to Vancouver and stopped everywhere all the way to Halifax. I travelled alone and am not very social so the first thing I did in each city is looked for some ganja. Vancouver was ridiculously easy to find, Edmonton was alright, Winnipeg was VERY easy and quick to find pot (5 minutes I found several people). Montreal was hard to find pot, but when I found it, it was GOOD. HALIFAX WAS THE WORST PLACE EVER. I will never go back there ever again….I spent a Friday/Saturday/Sunday walking around downtown and NO ONE had pot, no one knew where to find it, i got ripped off once but that’s my own damn fault! I know a girl from Halifax and I asked her for help and even she said it’s dry! I used your site when I got there in October and went to ALL of the places on the list…..that was three days of hell! I was GLAD to be back home in Hamilton where i ts mediocre but its everywhere. Maybe other people had better luck in Halifax…but not me!

Legislation: You will be fined for possesion under 28g. Over 28g and you will be charged with trafficking. Also if you have other paraphernalia such as scales and baggies or marijuanna in multiple dime bags you will be charged to the fullest extent of the law.
Law enforcement: In guelph police do not go looking to catch someone smoking pot ,but like almost any other place it is publicly prohibited. As long as you toke away from the publics view you will be fine, or anywhere on your own property. If you are out in the streets and want to smoke a joint, go to a park or area where police can not drive up to you without you seeing them coming and simply pocket whatever you have.
Where to buy marijuana: You can try the bars downtown, try some high school smoking pits or even go down to the willow road area and look for a guy with some baggy jeans and his hat on sideways. As long as you ask the youth nobody should be offended, anyone over 40 aint good to ask. But if you want the best guelph has to offer you will find me or someone I know , no lie.

Marijuana brands: We got it all from Kush to Purlple Haze. Even that famous BC bud coming from out west. After the summer though there is a period where lots of outdoor marijuana is around if you happen to not get the premium Hydro. During the rest of the year it is too cold to grow out side so we get the premium indoor hydro.
More information: In guelph the youth smoke somthing called poppers which is defined by wikepedia as: A small amount of tobacco packed into a patty shape with a round ball of marijuana rolled on top of it. Usually stuffed into a “popper bottle”. This marijuana smoking technique is common in Southern Ontario, Canada. Produces the same affects as regular marijuana usage along with a slight head rush produced by the tobacco. Popper smokers do not tend to smoke the tobacco part and use it as a sort of screen in the popper bottle tube of the smoking apparatus. Many unique words are used to describe various parts of smoking “popper or poppers” such as: “Sitch” which is the small amount of tobacco ripped from an end of a cigarette to form the base of a popper. “Spoof” which is a filtration device made of a toilet paper roll stuffed with bounty sheets to trap marijuana smoke and the hefty aroma and the “Popper Bottle” itself also known as a “PB” which is usually made of a used soda pop bottle with a nipple tube from a lamp stuck in the side. The “Popper Bottle” is airtight and holds a small amount of water to filter the smoke as the user inhales through the spout of the bottle.

Legislation: Marijuana is illegal in Canada, though practically de-criminalized. This is probably due to the fact that Canada has amazing bud.
Law enforcement: Marijuana is illegal New Brunswick, but it is very lightly enforced. Most of the cops smoke it themselves. In Fredericton, specifically, it is commonplace to be smoking weed inside or out (although due to the Canadian winter, winds tend to make smoking outside a little bit hard), but upon encountering the authorities, the case is usually “put it out and go smoke it somewhere else”.
Where to buy marijuana: Typically the downtown area is the best place to find your weedies. Upon entering the bar-area, one can merely ask a passer-by where to find some ganja and you’re there. Of course, there are always times of adventure which can be quite enjoyable (if you’re willing to work for the pleasure of the bud) but 99% of the time you will be successful.
Marijuana prices: 1/8 – $25-30
1/4 – $40-50
1/2 – $70-90
1oz – $120-300

Just remain respectful and intelligent regarding your habits and you will have no problems. You will find more people smoke in this area than don’t. Just remember, draw the line at pot 🙂
