Legislation: Possession of less than 100 grams of marijuana is a citable offense only, with a fine of $100. Possession of 100 grams or more is punishable by a fine of up to $250. For possession of 200 grams or more, the penalty increases to a possible sentence of 6 months – one year in jail. Possession of 1,000 grams or more is punishable by 1 – 5 years in prison. Any possession of less than 5,000 grams does not carry the presumption of prison, which leaves available the possibility of probation. Possession of 5,000 grams of marijuana or more is punishable by 1 – 5 years in prison. For any amount or 20,000 grams or more the penalty increases to a mandatory minimum sentence of eight years in prison.

Law enforcement: Cops mostly have bigger things to worry about than weed. If you smoke while driving, make sure not to be obvious and dont speed. Not a lot of undercover activity unless you get into the city or the malls.

Where to buy marijuana: Mill Creek park (the flats, bears den), Boardman Park (walk around on trails, ask people who look like stoners). If you aren’t white, you can get more into the city around public housing. Southern Park mall, and Eastwood mall are also good places, just watch out for mall security and the occasional undercover.

Marijuana prices: $35-40 a 1/4 for some alright mids, $75-100 for a half of mids $175+ an O for mids. If you know the right people, you can get an O of high mids for $100-125. Strains are usually more, but not much, prices are fairly cheap here.

Marijuana brands: Orange Kush, Diesel, Cali bud- come in every so often, almost impossible to just get off the street, however.
