Sainte Anne, Guadelope
Smoking tolerance level [1= very illegal 5=virtually legal]: 4
Legislation: Athough Guadeloupe is located in the Carribean, it is technically a french department and therefore the French law applies, which means that small quantities shouldn’t cause any troubles
Law enforcement: Many locals openly smoke and there is a strong rasta culture. Police shouldn’t bother you, but you still need to be careful.
Where to buy marijuana: In Sainte-Anne, St-Francois or basically anywhere, there are locals smoking. Just ask them and they’ll set up. Dealers don’t tend to ask people, so you’ll have to do the first step
DO NOT TRY in Pointe a Pitre, it’s a pretty dodgy city
Marijuana prices: Cheaper than in France, around 2 Euros/gram.
Marijuana brands: Local, which varies from average to heavenly. Try to ask for “fil rouge”, but it’s not found commonly
More information: Speaking french could be useful for the transaction. Otherwise, just use the word “ganja” and you should get your way through
