Police will enter a house/apartment if they smell it or there is a report. They will search your car if they pull you over and smell it. They will not stop you for walking around high. Do not give them a reason to suspect you and you won’t get hassled.

Ask around campus. Everyone knows someone. Ask someone who looks like they are “cool” and they might be able to help. Townies are iffy but it is a small town, so everyone knows someone.
