Law enforcement: This town is a police state. We are a medium size city (150,000), but boast the fourth highest trained SWAT team in Texas. The police are everywhere, and are constantly updated with the latest in civilian war technologies. I-10, the most notorious drug highway in the world runs through the center of town. Every couple months you hear about them confiscating a few hundred pounds off I-10. The police are assholes and will arrest for a roach. Beware! Cops wear cowboy hats and believe they are John Wayne. Constant trials for corruption of city officials. One cop was even caught with a few 55 gallon drums full of cocaine buried on his property. The police have come to peoples houses and beat them up at the will of a bitter girlfriend. Our last mayor is in federal prison, and he was the best yet. We collect a lot of revenue seizing property and giving tickets. Be careful even driving through! Lumberton is the next city North, and you will be pulled over if your black, because they will associate you with the trashy crack heads in our ghettos. Terrible goverment at war with its own people while hypocritically violating their own law. The only reason I gave a 2 instead of a 1 is that in the early 1900’s the police sniped drug dealers from the roof of the Hotel Beaumont. The Hotel is still there. You can stay there! There is no telling how much death and prostitution that has come through there!
Where to buy marijuana: it is going to be hard. You’ll find crack or crystal meth easier. If your black stay away from the white neighborhoods(West). If your white stay away from the black neighborhoods (South,East,North). Our town is predominately black, so if you’re black you’ll find it easier, but the cops, black and white, will racially profile you. You will have to talk a lot. Clubs here constantly go under, because no one supports anything here, so I won’t list any. There are a few pretty girls, but for the most part these are the trashiest and ugliest women in Texas. So even if you do score the smoke the chicks are tough on the eyes.

More information: If you do stay here and score some smoke then the woods are awesome. About 25 miles away you can rent canoes at Village Creek, and float through the white sand forest of the Big Thicket National Preserve. Good Luck. You’ll Need It !
