May 5, 2004: The legislation, sponsored by members of the Louisiana Black Caucus, overturned many draconian mandatory minimums passed in 1996, and is expected to save Louisiana $60 million a year in reduced prison costs.
Law Enforcement: Police are strict, schools are strict. Do NOT smoke in public. They will search for any trace of weed on you and in your vehicle. Tolerance is little but many do it anyway.
Where to buy marijuana in Baton Rouge: Good places to buy are around LSU and SU. South sherwood for those on the East east side and plank road is also a good spot around the clubs. Be careful who you buy from. Many “gangsters” sell weed. Governement street is a good location.
