Possession of ten pounds or more carries a penalty of up to 15 years in prison and a fine up to $500,000.
Law enforcement: The Rutland City Police are lazy and unless you blatently smoke out in front of them they normally aren’t too much of a threat but this could be because they feel useless with The Rutland County Police and The Vermont State Police all covering the same ground as them… it’s never a good idea to smoke where you think the “staey boys” are the county police are going to be. But they’re watching more for speeding cars than anything and many people smoke out on their front porches anyway.
Where to buy marijuana: It’s pretty simple to pick out who to ask and who not to ask. But randomly asking people doesn’t always work out so well, as that most of the city dwellers are sketchy and don’t like the random questions but it’s only a 15 minute drive from Proctor where you can ask almost anyone anyway.
Marijuana prices: Prices vary pretty drastically from one dealer to the next and so does quality so try to get an eye on what you’re buying first. the regularly noted prices would be $40-$45 for an 1/8 of indoor and $35 for an 1/8 of poor quality outdoor. But if you don’t carry your own scale you stand a pretty good chance of being underweighed.
More information: There are alot of dealers and alot of costumers but harder drugs such as various opiate painkillers are farily plantiful aswell and most marijuana dealers dabble in them aswell. The area kind of goes through trend waves of Heroin and Cocaine and the police oppression level changes depending on what’s big at the time.
