Stockton, CA, California

Smoking tolerance level [1= very illegal 5=virtually legal]: 4

Legislation: Proposition 215 in California since July 19, 2002, also known as the Compassionate Use Act of 1995, legalizes medical Marijuana use: “The possession and cultivation of marijuana is no more criminal — so long as (the law’s) conditions are satisfied — than the possession and acquisition of any prescription drug with a physician’s prescription.” CA Chief Justice Ronald George.

Law enforcement: Cops aren’t really worried about pot out here they’re mostly looking out the hardcore drugs. If you play it safe and don’t smoke in the very busy parts of downtown (by the police station) you’ll be just fine.

Where to buy marijuana: You can find pretty good weed out here even if you don’t have a connection. Just about any corner in downtown will have some man selling weed (you’ll know because they will be smoking it). Just be cool and ask them if you know any where you can buy some trees or weed never say pot (they will think you’re the cops) and they will direct you to some weed. Stay away from the southside they will not hook you up at all.

You can also try to go to the bus stops by the malls – there’s often people out the smoking and they can tell you were to score some weed.

Stockton marijuana prices: Dime sacks ( .7gr) $4 Dirt $10 Purple $10 Bomb(great stuff)$15 Chronic (KILLER) Dubs Sacks (1.6gr)$7 Dirt $20 Purple/Bomb $ 25 Chronic Eights $20-80 Quads $35-145 OZ $70-300

Brands: Dirt weed is cheap and pretty easy to find and if you smoke enough will give a cool buzz. Purple and Bomb are the two main types and is sold everwhere Bomb is hydro. You can also find trainwreck here. Chronic one of the best weed you can find out here it’s expensive but well worth it.The best weed in Stockton is Grandaddy Purple (it’s Purple covered with THC) but its not easy to come by if you dont have connections and when you do find it it’s very expensive!!

More information: Stockton a cool city for smoker if you keep cool and kick back & relax after you get high. A great place to go once you get high is the movies downtown and the Waterfront.

General Calfornia Information:

Legislation: In California since 1996’s Prop 215 anyone “recommended” (not prescribed—doctors nationwide can’t prescribe cannabis but they can under freedom of speech laws recommend it informally for your condition/illness) marijuana has been able to use it in their home legally now in quantities “Under the [statewide] guidelines, qualified patients and/or their primary caregivers may possess no more than eight ounces of dried marijuana and/or six mature (or 12 immature) marijuana plants. However, S.B. 420 allows patients to possess larger amounts of marijuana when such quantities are recommended by a physician. The legislation also allows counties and municipalities to approve and/or maintain local ordinances permitting patients to possess larger quantities of medicinal pot than allowed under the new state guidelines. [For detailed information on county or municipal medical marijuana guidelines [whether your area allows greater than 8 ounces to be possessed, etc.], please visit: http://www.safeaccessnow.net/countyguidelines.htm Oakland, for example, allows more than most counties]”

Thus if you are recommended cannabis you can visit the cannabis dispensaries (pharmacies supplying only medical marijuana to patients displaying proof of recommendation and residence in California) but some counties have banned the dispensaries in their area. Nonetheless there are many dispensaries in LA (over 100) and some in Northern California especially towards the coast. Or you can grow the applicable amount you want legally. If a police officer discovers you are in possession of cannabis showing them an ID card from your county will make them leave you alone faster (optional, costs over $100 a year). Under state law your marijuana use will be 100% legal in your home. Federal laws against medical marijuana don’t change the way California (or any other) state police officers and courts treat medical marijuana—only state laws do. California state law protects all doctor-recommended medical marijuana users as long as they don’t go over the quantity limits and don’t sell their cannabis to anyone. Thus medical marijuana is quite legal in California and many have gotten legal protection for their medical use for a wide variety of conditions not yet allowed in the other 11 medical marijuana states: e.g., Migraine, Arthritis, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), PMS, Severe Anxiety and many other conditions where marijuana is useful and effective.

Law enforcement: Medical marijuana users with doctor recommendations are fully legally protected in California for amounts up to at least 8 ounces and/or 6 mature (or 12 immature) plants in their home (certain counties listed here http://www.safeaccessnow.net/countyguidelines.htm allow more and certain conditions allow larger quantities sometimes). State police officers must not arrest you if you can show an identification card ($100 or so per year) or show your doctor-written proof of recommendation paper. As long as you keep within the legal quantity. 99% of marijuana arrests in the USA are done by state police officers according to MPP.org so as long as your medical marijuana use is legal in California you will not to have any problems as long as you follow state rules.

Where to buy marijuana: Medical users can buy at a dispensary (over 150 in the state, mostly in LA and the SF Bay area on the coast) with full legal protection to the quantities they are allowed. Also if an authorized medical user buys off the street they cannot be arrested for doing so as long as they can display a medical marijuana identification card ($100 or so a year) or show their written doctor’s proof of recommendation. Or they could grow their own to the amounts allowed.

More information: California is a pioneering medical marijuana state; the first “effective” American medical marijuana state since 1996 and the one that allows use for the most conditions (marijuana has shown anecdotal and scientifically proven results for many conditions, more than the 4 or 5 conditions (cancer/nasuea/chemotherapy side effects, HIV/AIDS, chronic pain, glaucoma, or MS or anorexia that the other 11 states have legalized use when recommended (though Maryland has the least protection according to MPP.org)) Plus California has decriminalized other marijuana use to a $100 fine for under an ounce possession and fines for paraphrenalia; no jail time and some cities have set marijuana use in general as the lowest law enforcement priority thus ignoring small time possession much more often.

Temecula, CA, California

Smoking tolerance level [1= very illegal 5=virtually legal]: 4

Legislation: Pot is approved for medical use, which makes the legal status vague. Still, it is safe to keep your weed safely hidden.

Law Enforcement: the police will usally either give you a ticket since it is decriminalized in ca, or if it is a cool cop they will just take the weed and let you go.

Cops don’t really care. They try to make it seem like they care but really they don’t. If u have under a half ounce and are honest you will probably walk away with at the most a ticket.

Where to Buy Marijuana in Temecula: go to the sports park (across from temecula valley high school) at 2:30 and you will probably have 3 or 4 people people come up to u tryin to sell u some. THE cops GO THERE EVERY FRIDAY for a roll through and bust any one even chillin there.

The mall is also a good one.

Temecula Marijuana Prices:

Ukiah, CA, California

Smoking tolerance level [1= very illegal 5=virtually legal]: 4.9

Legislation: Ukiah is the county seat and largest city in Mendocino County, California, which is one of the three counties in the Emerald Triangle, the largest marijuana producing region in the United States. In 2000, Mendocino County approved de-facto legalization for marijuana cultivation and possession for personal use. Entitled the “Personal Use of Marijuana Initiative”, Measure G

* Instructs the county government to support all efforts toward the decriminalization of marijuana;

* Directs law enforcement not to arrest or prosecute individuals for personal use marijuana violations involving possession, transportation or cultivation of 25 plants or fewer;

* Provides for the continued enforcement of marijuana laws against those who cultivate, transport and possess marijuana for sale.

Law enforcement: Both the sheriff and district attorney have voiced support for marijuana decriminalization. Through its budgetary authority, the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors seek to ensure that the Sheriff’s Office and the District Attorney give lowest priority to the enforcement and prosecution of marijuana laws.

However most of the law enforcement don’t go after you for bud if you have fewer than 25 plants (or the amount equal to 25 plants) intended for personal use. Depending on the cop, they will let you keep your pot even if they find you with it (as long as you don’t look like you are going to sell). Still, it is always best to hide your weed just in case the cop isn’t sympathetic to herb.

The sheriff is in support of cannabis decriminalization so the law enforcement tend to be very chill when it comes to weed. You can smoke out in the open at parks, but don’t be so open about it. Some cops are different and its best to hide your joint, pipe, and weed if you suspect a cop around. Hot-boxing is okay too as long as you spray your car or truck after you smoke.

Where to buy marijuana: Ukiah, as well as all of Ukiah Valley (Capella, Talmage, Redwood Valley, ect.) are pretty chill toward cannabis. Try asking some of the younger crowd or any hippy-looking dude in the area. They will most likely steer you in the right direction. Try to refrain from asking an older looking person as some are from the last generation that somewhat disdains weed. As a whole though, most people won’t jump on you and will be polite if you ask for chronic.

Todd Grove Park is also a good place to look for pot smokers for dealing.

Marijuana prices: Pretty much the same as the rest of California. Because pot is so widely available here, you don’t really have to worry about getting ripped off (though not unheard of). Prices below;

Nickel Bag or 5 Bowl: $5

Dime Bag or 10 Sac: $10

Dub Bag or 20 Sac: $20

Marijuana brands: Ukiah as well as all of Mendocino County has some of the best weed in the world! White Widow, Trainwreck, Kush, you name it and you can find it (though some strains are easier to find than others).

More information: Ukiah is a really great place to smoke chronic. With one of the best cannabis laws in the US as well as some of the highest quality strains, you usually can never go wrong. Just don’t take too much advantage of the Ukiah Valley area. Don’t act a fool and don’t expose your weed. If you do this there is nothing to worry about.

Walnut Creek (CoCo), CA, California

Smoking tolerance level [1= very illegal 5=virtually legal]: 4

Legislation: Prop 215 has been around for a few years. You can find a Herbal Boutique in virtually any town but many of those East of the Oakland hills (i.e. Walnut Creek, Concord, and the rest of Contra Costa County) require an appointment.

Pot is approved for medical use, which makes the legal status vague. Still, it is safe to keep your weed safely hidden.

Law Enforcement: If they find weed on you they make you unbag it and grind it into the ground. The meth epidemic out here makes cops turn a blind eye to any unprocessed drugs (weed, shrooms, etc.). Dealers rarely get cracked down on because they all have 215 cards, and it’d be too difficult to catch them in the act of selling since no one pre-bags.

Where to Buy Marijuana in Walnut Creek (CoCo): Friends mostly. You’re usually less than 3 degrees from a slanger. If you’re new to the area hit up one of the pool halls or just wait infront of a 7-11 and talk to whoever buys Swishers or Optimos.

Walnut Creek Marijuana Prices: Dimes – $10 (.5g – .7g) Dubs – $20 (1g – 1.7g) Henrys – $40 – $50 (3.5g)

Brands: Anything you want. Mostly reds that’ll go the distance or heady as fuck purps that kinda warrant taking a few vics or percs.

More information: There’s a reason they call it the “Dub C”

South lake tahoe, CA, California

Smoking tolerance level [1= very illegal 5=virtually legal]: 4.5

Legislation: Possession of 28.5 grams or less of marijuana is not an arrestable offense. As long as the offender can provide sufficient identification and promises to appear in court, the officer will not arrest the offender. Upon conviction of the misdemeanor charge the offender is subject to a fine of $100. Possession of greater than 28.5 grams is punishable by up to six months in jail and a fine of up to $500.

Law enforcement: in south lake Tahoe you have to worry more about being drunk than walking around with some herb in your pocket. the police will stop you and ask if you have been drinking at all. if you haven’t, then they will let you go no matter how strong the smell of dank is pouring out of your car. if you do get caught with it, most of the time the cop will let you off with a ticket, but sometimes they will take you in if you have a copious amount on you. all in all it is wildly used and accepted in tahoe.

Where to buy marijuana: go to any of the local hang outs, mostly any of the ski resorts or the clubs in tahoe. get in good with some of the sno bros and you have a good chance that they will either have it on them or close by. however, the locals aren’t too accepting of your common rich yuppie from a big town with lots of cash, acting like you’re the man, so just act like a normal human being, and don’t try to make it seem like you’re better than them or you’ll have a hard time scoring.

Marijuana prices: 1/2 8th = $25

1 8th = $50

1/2 oz = $150

1 oz = $300

QP = $900 – 1000

LB = $2500 – 3500

Marijuana brands: many people in Tahoe grow themselves so you can find just about ever kind that you can think of, plus being located just a short drive from Humbolt, california, there is always a large quantity of what you want.

Steamboat Springs, Colorado

Smoking tolerance level [1= very illegal 5=virtually legal]: 5

Legislation: Colorado has passed Amendment 64 which allows people 21 and over to possess up to 1 ounce of marijuana. Currently state and counties are working out legislation behind the opening of public pot shops. Colorado also continues to be a medical marijuana state and dispensaries are in every town.

Where to buy marijuana: Marijuana in Steamboat Springs is plenty full, what u should no is that there is probably more marijuana in the boat then there is in most large us cities, so if the first person you ask cant or more likely than cant, isn’t willing to help you out just ask the next person you think that is likely to toke up. Who to ask? In my opinion i would ask pretty much anyone that looks and acts like a local around the STEAMBOAT SKI AREA, also as in any town finding and asking the stereotypical stoner is always a good way to go(funny how stereotype are usually right) in my opinion younger people are more likely to help you out but any Colorado Mountain College kids will more than likely try to make you pay 60 and or rip you off, especially if they think you are from out of town. Where to go? I would say that the terrain park on the mountain is probably going to be your best bet for a quick find because pretty much anyone who skis and is any good also tokes up on a regular basis, if you ask around and don’t find anyone with some dank on them in the park more than likely if you just offer to smoke them up pretty much anyone that can will be willing to help you out.(as long as your not a sketchball or look like a DEA agent) I would also check around the local subway/coldstone where there is likely to be some dealers hanging out on the tables outside or inside the store.

Marijuana prices: $25-35 1/8oz of DANK

$50-80 1/4 oz of DANK

$100-150 1/2 oz of Dank

$200-250 1 oz of Dank

If you are looking for quantity and are from out of town you probably won’t find anyone willing to sell you a qp or more without knowing a local or unless you are obviously not a bitch working with the DEA and can convince them you are straight.

Don’t no about beasters due to the fact that i have lived here for 2years and i have never seen nor heard of any beasters, only headies in steamboat!!

Marijuana brands: Dealers really don’t no what they are talking about when they give buds a name, most of the time it is just some bull shit name that they came up with to try to sell there plant or make it seem better than it is. Anything you find should be the dankity dank and most people carry more than one type of buds, a good dealer in Steamboat will at least have 3 types of different headies, If they try to tell you the names to help you with your decision would just tell them you want to look at it to decide because they more than likely just made up the names.

More information: Steamboat is a cool town, great skiing, great hiking, great back country(BUFF PASS only 12miles from Steamboat gets the most snow of any point in Colorado over 600inches of dry fluffy snow each year, Almost but not quite equal to the dry fluffy quality of snow in Utah and Jackson Whole although the resort and some locals who do not know what they talking about try to talk it up saying there “champaign powder” is the best in the world, and most important to this site a amazing standard of quality of the marijuana here due to people dropping off from California on the way to the east and our close proximity to DENVER where marijuana is completely legal!!!! woohoo!!

Santa Barbara, CA, California

Smoking tolerance level [1= very illegal 5=virtually legal]: 4.5

Legislation: You can refer to the California cities; nothing is different here. There is a dispensory nearby and a couple more within an hour’s drive.

Proposition 215 in California since July 19, 2002, also known as the Compassionate Use Act of 1995, legalizes medical Marijuana use: “The possession and cultivation of marijuana is no more criminal — so long as (the law’s) conditions are satisfied — than the possession and acquisition of any prescription drug with a physician’s prescription.” CA Chief Justice Ronald George.

Law enforcement: Look, I.V. appears to be Lord of the Flies–kids running the island– but the I.V. Foot Patrol and Goleta cops are both looking for easy busts. They won’t look too hard but if they catch you, don’t expect to get out of a ticket, a fine and some time at the stupid Zone Oseca (however it’s spelled) courses. I never got caught (Jah be praised), but your chances are good of getting a possession ticket (they also are strict about booze even though everyone is drunk 8 nights a week).

Mainly patrol downtown, especially state street. Undercovers sometimes check downtown beach parking lots, just get out of your car and check out the beach and you shouldn’t have a problem, just keep an eye open.

Where to buy marijuana: If you are an out of towner, don’t just go up to someone on the street and ask. People are VERY friendly here, strike up a convo and mention. If you talk to one person, your odds are good, if you talk to ten, well, you’d have to be at some Mormon fraternity not to score.

Marijuana prices: $40-60 for an eighter, 70-110 for a quadaroon, 130-180 for a half zone. From there the prices vary a lot; there is a ton of herb in this town. I would estimate that every fourth house not only has a smoker but someone moving a little something at least.

Marijuana brands: Wide variety but TOP shelf stuff comes from the dispensories or a great friend. Your run of the mill stuff here is a helluva lot better than most places’ top notch, but compared to LA, San Diego, most of NorCal as well, eh, I’d say the buds are a little less favorable but also the prices are a little better if you know anyone at all.

Dispensories have top quality and plenty of students and other people will grow the clones they sell.

This is mostly I.V., the area near UCSB. Goleta is similar but more families are there, still if you look for college aged cats, pfft, no worries. Same with downtown but IV is the most convenient because of population density and demographics.

More information: Why is this the first entry on this kickass beach town? For shame, stoners 😉

This is a cool city, however downtown doesn’t offer as much for the under 21 crowd. Just like anywhere, you’ll have more fun if you have friends in the city. But the city is saturated with marijuana, so just play smart and you shouldn’t have any problems.

Santa Clarita, CA, California

Smoking tolerance level [1= very illegal 5=virtually legal]: 4.5

Legislation: Proposition 215 in California since July 19, 2002, also known as the Compassionate Use Act of 1995, legalizes medical Marijuana use: “The possession and cultivation of marijuana is no more criminal — so long as (the law’s) conditions are satisfied — than the possession and acquisition of any prescription drug with a physician’s prescription.” CA Chief Justice Ronald George.

Law Enforcement: in LA Possession of 28.5 grams or less of marijuana is not an arrestable offense. As long as the offender can provide sufficient identification and promises to appear in court, the officer will not arrest the offender. In santa clarita – Everything according to Los Angeles Law. Cops are everywhere but not usually on foot and people only care when your around the neigborhoods making noise. Aside from that, its pretty chill. Cops usually take your bud away as long as its a little bit, under an oz, you should be fine. I’ve heard of those with scales getting screwed from the cops with huge tickets.

Where to Buy Marijuana in Santa Clarita: You can find it anywhere, the best spots are the condos on Sierra Highway, you can ask anyone there and as long as you look chill, you should be able to get it. Ask anyone who is of the ages of 15-25 in the area, mexican, white, black, it doesn’t matter. Everybody blazes here. They’ll hook you up good too. Newhall is where you get a lot of good stuff, but not a lot of chill transactions take place there. Valencia is where you’ll find a lot of High School Dealers, but they’ll hook you up phat. Saugus is the same as Valencia, you can find some dealers or someone who knows somebody as long as they fit the age group. If you walk around the Mall, the local community college (you can find someone toking in the parking lot) or are in the area of the high schools when they are.

Just ask around and soon enough you’ll find it.. The best times to look are in the day.

Santa Clarita Marijuana Prices: 1.0 (on the dot) $10-$15 for Regs (Chronic) 3.5-4.0 (1/8 of an OZ) – $40-50 for Regs (Chronic)

1.0 (on the dot) $20-$25 for Kush or Purple Kush 3.5-4.0 – $60-70 for Kush or Purple Kush

There are many prices available, I’ve gotten everything for different prices. Medical buds might cost a bit more, pretty standard pricing around the area. People are always willing to make deals with you and are pretty friendly.

Just ask around.

Brands: Dank Chronic, Regs (Just Chronic), Purple Haze, Sour Diesel, Purple Kush, Kush, Bubba Kush, Trainwreck, Green Crack, and anything from the Medical Clubs located nearby in LA. Get Kush if possible.

more information: Santa Clarita consists of Saugus, Valencia, Stevenson Ranch, Canyon Country and Newhall. EVERYBODY blazes here. So you’ll have no trouble finding it. Dealers are very protective and can be shady at times. So ask them to weigh it out for you and always negotiate. Always get more than one dealer’s info that way you can shop around. The earlier the deal, the better. Nights are pretty hard to look for it unless you have a connect. The greatest thing about this area, is that its very safe. So don’t expect to get shot or anything, but you will get ripped off if you don’t know how to do business.

Medical Marijuana is legalized by the State of California. Santa Cruz is home to some of the strangest, trippiest, and most liberal stoners in California. Pro-marijuana demonstrations and parades are normal. Most people smoke here, and are not too discreet about it.

Law Enforcement: Police in and around Santa Cruz don’t keep an eye out for marijuana users, though it probably would be a good idea to be discreet in the prescence of polive (i.e use the alley way instead of the main street). Once you get out of Santa Cruz and into neighboring cities the police become more hostile.

Our local reporter commented: “Almost none. Cops almost don’t care if they catch you smoking the will take it or break it. If the cops an ass he will write you a ticket at most 250$, but likely not going to happen.”

Where to Buy Marijuana in Santa Cruz: Most anywhere in Santa Cruz country is a good place to find good bud. Downtown SC, which is Pacific Ave, is full of head shops with friendly people who could point you in the right direction. Most everyone on the street are friendly and will point you in the right direction. Also try the Ranch Del Mar Shopping Center in Aptos, Ramsey Skate Park in Watsonville, and any shady kid walking the streets.

Santa Cruz Marijuana Prices:

40-45 an 1/8 and around 90 1/4. better prices of course if you know the guy but a dealer and gunna give a stranger a deal like that.

More information: Santa Cruz is a great place for crazy people and good weed. The people are friendly, and weed is a breeze to find. The local music scene is also great, with lots of punk, ska, reggae, and other great bands.

The State of California has made it legal to carry up to an ounce on your person IF you have received a “prescription” from a doctor. This “prescription” allows you to get a “Cannabis card” which you can use to purchase marijuana from “Cannabis Clubs” (a physical establishment you can buy marijuana from with a card). Also, possesion of marijuana in the State of California is only a misdemeanor offense and is removed from your record after only 2 years (misdemeanor only applies if there is no intent to sell).

if you live in california and travel alot, just get a club card so you don’t have to worry and smoke in peace. if you have the extra cash for it, the peace of mind is worth every penny

Law enforcement: I was warned to look out for undercovers but personally didn’t encounter any problems. Just use common sense and don’t smoke in front of cops.

Where to buy marijuana: I was at the beach near the local junior college. Real easy. I was told that at Venice Beach, people smoke openly at times and it’s not too hard to find someone. Just walk around the beach. My hook was openly showing a catalogue of glass pipes. He was talking to someone so I walked up and hung out nearby. Sure enough, after he was done talking to the other person, he came right over asking me if i wanted any pipes. I just told him I was more interested in the stuff people use pipes for. He asked me if I was a cop and 5 minutes later we were in a bathroom stall checking out his products. Also had some amazing pipes that he claimed were made by him. Great guy, even warned me to never give my money in advance, but that’s a no brainer.
