Legislation: A majority of Washington citizens voted in favor of medical marijuana in November 1998. “Fifty-nine percent of voters approved Measure 692 on November 3, 1998. The law took effect on that day. It removes state-level criminal penalties on the use, possession and cultivation of marijuana by patients who possess “valid documentation” from their physician affirming that he or she suffers from a debilitating condition and that the “potential benefits of the medical use of marijuana would likely outweigh the health risks.” Patients diagnosed with the following illnesses are afforded legal protection under this act: cachexia; cancer; HIV or AIDS; epilepsy; glaucoma; intractable pain (defined as pain unrelieved by standard treatment or medications); and multiple sclerosis. Other conditions are subject to approval by the Washington Board of Health. Patients (or their primary caregivers) may legally possess or cultivate no more than a 60-day supply of marijuan
a. The law does not establish a state-run patient registry.
AMENDMENTS: Yes.
Senate Bill 6032, which takes effect on July 22, 2007, mandates the Department of Health to “adopt rules defining the quantity of marijuana that could reasonably be presumed to be a sixty-day supply for qualifying patients.” The Department is instructed to report its findings to the legislature by July 1, 2008.
Patients who possess larger quantities of cannabis than those approved by the Department will continue to receive legal protection under the law if they present evidence indicating that they require such amounts to adequately treat their qualifying medical condition.
Senate Bill 6032 also affirms changes previously recommended by the state’s Medical Quality Assurance Commission to expand the state’s list of qualifying conditions to include Crohn’s disease, hepatitis c, and any “diseases, including anorexia, which results in nausea, vomiting, wasting, appetite loss, cramping, seizures, muscle spasms, and/or spasticity, when these symptoms are unrelieved by standard treatments or medications.”
The new law also limits the ability of police to seize medicinal cannabis that is “determined … [to be] possessed lawfully [by an authorized patients] under the … law.” Source: http://www.norml.com/index.cfm?Group_ID=4571&wtm_view=medical
Law enforcement: Hardly anyone gets pulled over in Woodinville, so driving while smoking is usually pretty safe. Hollywood Hill area is the least sketch, I have lived there my whole life and seen only a few cops.
Where to buy marijuana: The Woodinville Skate Park, or ask some Woodinville High School kids. About every other WHS smoker is a weed dealer or knows one. Common dealing places, although I wouldn’t recommend because everyone knows about them, are the side lot of the Woodinville Safeway and the side lot of Top Foods.
Marijuana prices: Dubs: $20 1.7-1.9
Eights: $40 3.4-3.6

Legislation: Possession of one half ounce or less is punishable by up to 30 days in jail, most likely suspended. Possession of greater than one half ounce is punishable by 1 – 120 days in jail, with a possibility of community service or probation in lieu of jail. Possession greater than 1.5 ounces increases the penalties to 8 – 13 months in jail.
Penalties for sale, delivery or manufacture are increased if the sale occurs within 300 feet of a school zone if the offender is over 21 and if the sale was made to a minor or to a pregnant woman.
The state allows conditional release or alternative or diversion sentencing for people facing their first prosecutions. Usually, conditional release lets a person opt for probation rather than trial. After successfully completing probation, the individual’s criminal record does not reflect the charge.
Law enforcement: Cops are pretty hot in the city limits all the time, but in the outskirts of the city you hardly ever see a cop.
Where to buy marijuana: Finding a good East Winston or Southside connection is pretty easy.
Winston Salem, NC marijuana prices: Around $60 for an ounce of good reg.

For any possession of 100 kilograms or more, the penalty is up to 30 years in prison and a fine up to $1,000,000.

Driver’s licenses can be suspended for 30 days if the offense was committed while driving a motor vehicle.
Conditional discharge is a possibility for first time offenders.
Law enforcement: Cops are pretty lame in Winona, they don’t have much to do besides bust people for petty crimes. In most cases if you get caught you’re looking at court, fines, probation, etc. Just avoid cops, especially at night. They’re always in their squad cars, never on foot, and if you look suspicious (or have any reason for them to pull you) they will pull you over. Since it’s a small town, a little courtesy with the 5-0 goes a long way. If they ask you what you’re doing, mention something wholesome like bowling (seriously, their opinion of you will change immediately).
another reporter added: “Cops in the city of Winona will bust you in most cases if they catch you smoking, or pull you over and find weed/paraphernalia in your car, and this can result in court, probation, etc. So be careful, but it is possible to find good spots in town. Just don’t drive and smoke in town. ”
Where to buy marijuana: Just like in any small town, connections are essential. You won’t really find any dealers on the street anywhere, it’s best to know someone. The porn store on 3rd St in downtown Winona sells bowls and bongs and such, so go in and look for stoner types examining the merchandise–wait until outside the store to ask discretely though, and don’t be sketchy about it. Let them know you’re cool and smoke them up if they can hook you up. If you see any stoners around the Winona State campus, ask them discretely too. Don’t bother looking for bud at the St Mary’s campus though. Also, the disc golf courses by the lakes are good places to find stoners, again be discreet as the parks are extremely public areas. Basically any stoner types or punks (they’re cool with you as long as you’re cool with them) will at least give you a friendly pointer in the right direction.
another reporter added: “It’s all about connections. If you come across a hippie-looking person or an obvious stoner, ask discretely. Also, the local porn store sells pipes and stuff, so go in there–don’t mention weed to the employees, but if you see anyone looking at the pipes ask them outside or something.”
Marijuana prices: Usually $50-60 an eighth for good dank or beasters, $300-375 an oz. Of course, these prices depend on availability and your hookup. It’s usually dryer in the summer when the college kids are gone. Don’t expect to be able to get a hold of any amounts larger than an eighth if you don’t know anyone though, and it can take a while even if you do. Many dealers also sell by the dime (1.7g, $25-30).
Mids are usually $25 an eighth, but not very common.
another reporter added: “Usually $25-30 a dime, $50-60 and eighth depending on quality, $150-175 1/2 oz, $300-350 an oz. Usually good dank, nothing special like you can get in bigger cities but generally pretty good quality. Shwag is harder to find, but find any ghetto-looking people–warning, they will probably rip you off. ”
Marijuana brands: Most of the Winona bud is pretty good quality, but not many name brands. Beasters are common, but don’t pay 60 an eighth for them. I’ve come across blueberry, grapes, and sour diesel, but high quality strains are tough to find. Shitty brick weed is available but isn’t worth the effort or risk of losing your money.
More information: I don’t recommend smoking in the open in Winona unless you are familiar with the town and know some good spots. Don’t drive around town and smoke either. On the other hand, the county road system is great, almost no sheriffs (or anyone else except other people on roadies), beautiful scenery, and miles upon miles of empty road to explore. Or, there are beautiful river bluffs right in town with great trails, so if it isn’t winter go for a nature hike with your favorite plant. Very few people use the extensive trail system, which runs along all of the bluffs. If you don’t want to go hiking, just go up into the trees to smoke.
There are beautiful river bluffs right in town with tons of great trails, so take a little hike, or even just go up into the trees. Also, in my experience the Winona County road system is great. I’ve only seen about 3 sheriff’s cars in about 3 years of roadie-ing on the back roads, which extend all across the area. Great scenery, most of the roads are gravel but basically empty, really fun to explore while smoking.

Law enforcement: Williamstown has the population of 3000 people, in a very small compact town consisting of a high school and a park. In this small town there is 6 full time active police officers and they can be simply explained as total and complete dick head douche bags. The will search you without reason, watch your’e house, even to the point of installing cameras around town. If you are not in a house, I do not recommend smoking around town. The cops are very bored, so it would be their pleasure to bust you for something minor.
Where to buy marijuana: There is zero amounts of Marijuana to be sold in town, but if you go out to Waverly which is 5 miles out of Williamstown itself there are many places to find it.
The dealers are very sketchy of who comes around, and you must pretty much be friends with them.
Marijuana prices: $15.00 – $25.00 = 1/8 of schawg.
$30.00 – $35.00 = 1/8 of Country homegrown mids.

Law enforcement: cops here are sometimes assholes and will search you for no reason but just be smart and smoke inside houses or at parties and youll be fine. Careful where you do it. Weston cops have nothing else to do other than sit on their fat lazy asses and bust kids for smoking pot or underage drinking.
Where to buy marijuana: Town Center always has dealers every Friday & Saturday nights. Gas station attendants are also stoners, so ask them as well. Peacemound Park is also a weekend stoner ritual.
and also: “Town center is no longer a place to get bud here and is really heated with cops so unless you no someone its really hard to get dat fire but your best bet would be to go plaza in weston on indian trace road and ask young looking teenagers if they have any connects for the dank bud which most lilkly they will if they loook like they smoke they probably will, also ask people who work n burger kings or mcdonalds or any gas station employee just be careful cops are everywhere here just be smart and the last thing u should be worried about in weston is getting robbed nothing but a bunch of teengers”

– Possibility of conditional discharge on first offense.
Law enforcement: West Lafayette is a college town where very little real crime occurs. Cops here tend to focus on busting high school / college kids for underage drinking, P.I., or possession. Even when real crime is happening, the cops still choose to do the virtually effortless job of filing alcohol / marijuana cases. The pigs just got a few new K-9 units, so DO NOT SMOKE IN THE CAR while in the city. The safest places are private apartments, be careful in fraternities/dorms.
Where to buy marijuana: West Lafayette is a pretty conservative / closed city, so having connections helps. It is generally NOT safe to ask random college students, but many are nice and will help out in the purchasing process. Don’t necessarily ask people with the “stoner look”: Many of the stoners look straight-edge (dress nicely, well-groomed), while many of the “hippies” don’t actually smoke.
Marijuana prices: Prices are pretty bad unless you are well connected:
Schwag (called Middies, but really Schwag): $25 / 8th, $40 / quad, $100 – 150 / ounce
Middies (usually just higher quality, green brick weed): $35 / 8th, $60 / quad
Beastors (sometimes called Chronic by middlemen): $50 + / 8th, $100 -110 / quad, $ 340 – 360 / oz.
Chronic (called sixties, but not name brand): $60 / 8th, $110-120/quad, $350 – 400 / oz.
Name Brands (rare, need connections for this) : $60+ / 8th (I’ve even heard
of Maui Wowie going for $75), $400 + / oz.
Weed is expensive here so be prepared to spend a lot of money.
Marijuana brands: Generally generic weed is available. Ranges from brown brick weed ($20 / 8th) to Chronic and Chicago Dro ($60 / 8th). Name Brand weed is rare and only comes at certain times (unless you have connections): Blueberry, Maui Wowie, Trainwreck, White Widow, Purple Haze, Strawberry Kush. Most name brand comes from out of town (Chicago, Indianapolis, California, New York), although locally grown purple is available in season for a good bargain ($40-50 / 8th).
More information: Smoking and driving (colloquial: “Rasta”) is pretty popular with high school / college students, but must be done carefully. Stick to the county roads, S.R. 26 W or S.R. 25 N. Either drive west into the country (4 miles away from campus) or east into Lafayette (cops there don’t really care about weed, just don’t be blatant) and toke up. After finishing, make sure the car is odor-free before returning to West Lafayette. Tippecanoe County is a prosecution racket so be very careful in doing ANYTHING illegal (even downloading music).

Possession of up to four ounces of marijuana is punishable by up to one year in jail and a fine of up to $1,000 for the first offense. A subsequent offense is punishable by up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $3,000. Possession of four ounces or more of marijuana is punishable by up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $2,000 for a first offense. Subsequent offenses are punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $5,000. Possession of any amount within 1500 feet of a school adds a two-year minimum mandatory sentence to run consecutively with any other sentence imposed.
Law enforcement: The cops all depend.
Where to buy marijuana: You can look around Elmwood/Westfarms area in the lower class areas on Farmington Ave. Gas stations.
It being suburban there aren’t many good places to buy bud, all about connections.
Marijuana prices: schwag: 10 a g, 30 an 8th, etc
headies: 15 or 20 a g, 50 an 8th, etc
supers: 20-25 a g, 60-70 an 8th
Marijuana brands: Lots of good bud comes into the WeHa area from Trinity and UHart. Tons of danks come in too, lots of kush especially. Just try to find a stoner or a teenager and they can generally direct you.
