Law Enforcement: For the most part, Aurora cops realize that in this town, there are bigger fish to fry. Aurora has a lot of the same problems as cities many times its size. Unless you are doing something incredibly stupid, Aurora police won’t bother you. The APD is more focused on combating gang activity than busting pot smokers, to put it bluntly. If you should come into contact with the Aurora police, courtesy goes a long way, especially with older officers.

Where to Buy Marijuana in Aurora: Aurora has three main sections: the east side, the west side, and downtown.

The best bet for finding marijuana in Aurora if you are not from the area is downtown. There is a good quality head shop called Happy Times on Galena Boulevard (a main street). Asking around there could yield results. On the west side, there is a head shop called “Hippie Lights” on _____, asking people around there would probably be a good idea.

Unless you know the area, the east side should be avoided. The east side of Aurora is basically one giant ghetto. Gang activity is very common, and robbery is a real threat to potential buyers. Also, police presence (both uniform and undercover) is much more prevalent on the east side. It is easy to get lost and wind up in very bad areas quickly.

The west side of Aurora is much closer to typical middle-class suburbia. Even the seedier areas are much more tame when compared with the east side. The only real places to find weed would be these areas. Scope out Best Place and Lilac Lane (these are both street names) and the surrounding areas near the Wal-Mart on the west side, even though these neighborhoods have been renovated, you should still be able to score some bud from someone on the street, just exercise caution. Avoid areas called “Jericho Circle” or “Westwood” (it is the same place, although some people refer to it by its old name of Westwood) and “Monomoy”, as these are dangerous housing projects where you could be seriously injured.

Also, stay away from Aurora University. Despite the fact that it is a college, it is not known for partying at all, and there is a high police presence in the area. It is located in the middle of a neighborhood.

More Information: Unfortunatley, Aurora is a town of “hookups”. The best way to find good marijuana is to either know someone who smokes, or someone who sells it. There is an abundance of both, it just is a matter of knowing someone.
