Legislation: New Jersey CDS laws apply. Possession of 50 grams or less of marijuana or being under the influence of marijuana is a disorderly persons offense, punishable by up to six months in jail and a fine of up to $1,000. Possession of greater than 50 grams is punishable by up to 18 month in jail and a fine of up to $25,000. Any possession within 1,000 feet of a school adds an additional 100 hours or more of community service to the sentence.

Law enforcement: Atlantic City cops have other things to worry about besides personal use of marijuana. I have never been caught there but keep in mind that NJ marijuana does apply here and getting does equal trouble.

Where to buy marijuana: Do not try to find weed outside of the boardwalk area. Chances are you will run into a crack head who will rip you off. It has happened to me. Also please note that Atlantic City is very run down and sketchy where crime is very rampant, so watch yourself. Your best bet is to ask some of the skater kids and/or the taxi drivers on the boardwalk. Some of them will help you out but do not give them money if they have to go somewhere else to get. Also do not follow them as they can bring you to sketchy area of the city.

Marijuana prices: $40 for and 1/8th of mids. It wasn’t the best stuff in the world but it smelled good and got the job done very well. I’m pretty sure other people have better shit for more money.

More information: Atlantic City could be a fun time if you stay in the right areas. People over the age of 21 can have a blast in the cities clubs and casinos. Summer time is the best time to go as the weather is warm and the beach is open. Atlantic City can also be viewed as a very friendly smokers town as people around the area do carry and every local shop on the boardwalk sell paraphernalia and other various smoking products.
